The Edexcel Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools (QCF) combines knowledge and practice qualification for those specialist support staff roles that directly support teaching and learning. The Level 3 Diploma recognises competence in both generic and specialist aspects of supporting teaching and learning in schools.

This course is available as an Apprenticeship Programme through Welsh Government funding for people who are employed in a school, but have no formal qualifications as a Teaching Assistant.
