BTEC Level 1 Introduction to Vocational Training
This qualification is an introduction to vocational training which consists of two mandatory core units: Being Organised Developing a Personal Progression Plan and a choice of several optional sector units: Art and Design Hospitality Caring for Children Public Services Business IT Digital Media Health & Social Care You will attend placement in your chosen sector units. You can progress onto the Teaching Assistants qualification or Health & Social Care Level 2 |
QCF Level 2 Certificate & Level 3 Diploma in Teaching Assistants These qualifications will enable you to work as a TA in an educational setting The Level 2 Certificate consists of 11 units and the Level 3 Diploma consists of 15 units. You will attend placement in a local school every week and the Training Centre once a week. City & Guilds Health & Social Care Level 2 Core Qualification This qualification will enable learners to apply for registration with Social Care Wales as a social care worker in domiciliary care or residential child care. There are 5 units to achieve: Principles and Values of Health & Social Care(adults) Health and Well-Being (adults) Professional Practice as a Health & Social Care Worker Safeguarding Individuals Health & Safety in Health & Social Care |
Depending on your age when you join the Training Centre, will decide what level qualification you start with and your individual progression route.
